Welcome to the one and only recognized system of Aibudo. We are truly an eclectic system. Not just a hodge-podge of this or that, but a complete, realistic and fluid mix. Both "old world traditional" and modern day philosophies, strategies and techniques with an update of history as it occurs. We accept the "new MMA" but don't let it control our system as many have. Our system will continue to exist as a "system" despite it. MMA is a sport, whereas the martial arts are a lifestyle. Shihan

    All “defense systems” are opinion based and truly believe that they have the best to offer. We (LEAS) are not any different. When it comes to “opinion”, I don’t believe that any system is 100% with any or all individuals. There are just way too many variables to consider. What I will say though is, that only systems with common sense injected into their curriculum, are going to be the safest possible for the everyday officer.
